Perfect Forward Secrecy: keys are negotiated per session and discarded. Yesterday cannot be decrypted with tomorrow’s keys.

If the tunnel ever drops, the kill switch drops the network with it. Not one packet travels outside the seal.
Why we publish behaviour, not blueprints
Aurora’s protection depends on being indistinguishable from ordinary traffic. Publishing its internals would hand censors and network filters the exact fingerprint they need to find it. So this page tells you everything the protocol does — the sealing, the disguise, the guarantees — and nothing about how the disguise is stitched. That is a deliberate security decision, not marketing shyness.
